As mentioned in its April 11th "Rights Report," Publishers Weekly announced that HarperTeen will publish Michelle Falkoff's next YA novel, Questions I Want to Ask You. Due in summer of 2018, the book is is about a boy who receives a letter from his mother on his 18th birthday—except his mother is dead, or that's what he's always believed. When he embarks on a journey to find her, he unearths questions about both of his parents that make him rethink where he comes from and where he's going. More details to come!

- On October 22nd, she'll be reading alongside Leila A. Wilson, C. Russell Price, Leslie Parry, and Jim Davis at Volumes Bookcafe (1474 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622) as part of their B1G TEN Reading 2016.
- On October 23rd, she'll be speaking on a panel called "Tricks (and Treats) for Writing for Young Readers," co-hosted by the Midwest Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America and Concordia University Chicago’s Center for Literacy.
- On November 9th, she'll be reading at Prairie Lights (15 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City, IA 52240).
- On December 2nd, she'll appear at Women and Children First (5233 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60640).
